The
University of Rochester Nuclear Chemistry group performs basic research
in nuclear science. The main programs are executed at heavy-ion and
relativistic-proton accelerator facilities.

Isospin
Effects in HI Reactions (LNS-Catania/Italy, NSCL-Lansing/MI)
The SuperBall neutron calorimeter, in conjunction with a charged-particle array, will play an important role in isospin studies, see recent applications (html, pdf) .
Complex
Particle Emission in p-Induced Reactions at
2.5-GeV (FZ- Jülich/Germany).
Future
experimental projects will focus on cluster emission in heavy-ion reactions,
e.g., the project Cecil.
